Reference's & Reviews
Lori as an individual and as a Co-Director of Coruscate Theatre has made an impact and an important contribution to the artistic work of the area. Most recently, the Palace has joined with Coruscate to deliver weekly drama classes for local residents which exist to complement the work of the Community Theatre. Lori is a very committed professional who uses her skills to develop creative and innovative work both as a practitioner and a performer, working well as part of a team, and who is willing to take on different challenges in exciting and focused driven ways. Personal reference from Christopher Neil, Education Manager, Mansfield's Palace Theatre.
The show is . . . tremendously funny and entertaining with some fantastically silly moments throughout. The audience stays totally engaged and, at the end, the enthusiastic applause is for both the puppeteers and the puppets themselves. Review of ‘I Have Never Cared for Sunsets' at Brighton Fringe 2012 from www.whatsonstage.com
I am constantly impressed with the intelligence and originality which Coruscate Theatre apply to their projects, and the grounded way in which they have fitted into the various environments. Personal reference from Julian Bryant, ex- Direcotr of Outreach, Rose Bruford College.
Happy Worker is a dark and provocative, very believeable piece. The puppeteer was fully immersed in the show. Well executed and maintained poise throughout with good timing and control of the puppet. Audience feedback of ‘Happy Worker' solo marionette show as performed at Living Room Theatre 2012.
Lori's ideas are thoughtful and inishgtful. She is a pleasant, optimistic worker and a very good company member. Tutor feedback whilst studying at London School of Puppetry from Caroline Astell-Burt.
